How do I use the dough once it arrives?

Simply keep it frozen until you’re ready. Move the dough balls to the fridge to thaw overnight, then let it get to room temperature before you roll it (or leave them at room temperature for 3-4 hours, or use our quick microwave hack). Make sure the dough is fully thawed before use. Once thawed, they’re ready to stretch, top, and bake.

Can I defrost my dough faster?

Yes, we have the ultimate defrosting hack! Place the dough on the edge of your microwave turntable in its plastic wrapper. Cook on full power for 10 seconds, then turn the dough, and give it another 10 seconds. Repeat this turning and cooking until the dough is soft. Then leave it rest for 5 minutes in its bag. Then it’s ready to roll!

Do I need a pizza oven to use Ready Dough & Co?

Nope! Our dough works beautifully in wood-fired, gas, and regular home ovens. Your crust will rise and crisp up no matter what you’re cooking on.

How long does the dough last in the freezer?

Up to 3 months if stored properly. (Though, if we’re honest, it never lasts that long, it’s devoured long before that.)

Can I refreeze the dough once it’s thawed?

For best quality, we don’t recommend refreezing after thawing. Thaw only what you plan to use.

Are the dough balls ready to bake right away?

They need to thaw and proof slightly before you stretch and bake – that’s how you get those amazing bubbles and chew.

How many pizzas can I make from one dough ball?

Each dough ball makes one medium pizza (around 8-10 inches).

Do you deliver everywhere?

Right now we deliver only across Auckland. Just pop in your address at checkout to confirm.

Are the dough balls suitable for vegetarians?

Absolutely! Our dough is made with simple, high-quality ingredients and no animal products.

Are the dough balls gluten-free?

At this time we do not offer gluten free dough options, watch this space though!

What’s the best way to get the perfect pizza crust?

Preheat your oven (or pizza oven) as hot as it can go, stretch the dough gently, use a pizza stone or steel if you have one, and bake until it bubbles and blisters.
